Sweden, Stockholm, Nykoping

We were sad to say goodbye to Mike, Sabina and family, but we plan to catch up again maybe in NZ for maybe in Sweden.  It was time to keep moving though so it Sabina kindly dropped us off at the train station on her way to work.  We got into Stockholm and sorted out our accommodation   We had a look around to find Expert a store that was closing down that had camera's.  The line was huge,  so I took my place and gradually took an hour to move to the door.  Murray was looking around in other shops too.  I got to about a metre from the door and they announce they are going to close.  There was a bit of a ruck-as, one guy got all pushy and they had to call the cops, it was a bit unfair though, they could have told us earlier.  Anyway,  the shop was re-opening at 10 am.  So needless to say we were in the line at 8.45 mam.  We were the first people there, but before long there was quite a line again.  We went in and sorted out a camera, of course couldn't buy the same one, and even one with the same battery.  So it was a complete new kit, yay !  not I was really wrapped with my little Pentax it has taken some good photos.

We never really had much time in Stockholm, but we did walk through the city, the old city, along the waterfront, through the shopping center.  It seemed a nice enough place, but it was raining! again.   The next day it was off to Nykoping, about an hour south of Stockholm, were we stayed at a nice hotel (treat) for a night before catching our 9 euro Ryanair flight to Dublin.  Yep got a bargan, all up I think it was just under 100 euro, because you have to pay for your bag and we have packs, and also taxes fees etc.  But we were wrapped to get so far for so little.  Definitely a good way to travel if you just have hand luggage.

So it was off to Dublin the next morning.
Thank you Sweden for having us.
